Sr. Account Executive – Full Sales Cycle Ownership
Align is growing its sales team. We have more leads than our small team can handle. We need a salesperson who wakes up every day and wants to close new business.
This job isn’t for the faint of heart. We support small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses. You will need to learn the business methodology that we reinforce. In fact, you will learn it so well that you can teach it to entrepreneurs who need your help.
Every day you will be calling on business owners and executives who are busy running their own business. The right salesperson for this job knows how to command the attention of their prospects and help them achieve their business goals.
You will own your full sales cycle—from outbound prospecting to handing off new clients to customer success. With a 3-6 week sales cycle and average deal size of $5,000-$7,000 USD per year, you’ll hit quota by closing 7-10 accounts monthly.
Responsibilities
- Make 30-50 phone calls a day
- Conduct 3+ consultation calls with discovery and product demos daily
- Close 7-10 new accounts monthly
- Create impact statements for seamless account handoff and onboarding
- Maintain timely and accurate updates in Salesforce, Align, Outreach.io, and other sales platforms
- Actively make suggestions and look for areas the sales process/team/resources can improve
What should be true about you
- Experience running a consultative sales process – this is not a transactional sale!
- Ability to professionally challenge prospects to get to the WHY
- You can take a big business problem and quickly determine how/if Align will be the right fit
- Understand how a business is run and can empathize with leaders who are looking to scale their 20-200 person company
- Proactive in refining sales techniques and continuously improving customer acquisition
- Self-motivated and comfortable with a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Skilled in presenting ideas concisely and adapting to diverse audiences
- Experience using Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Outreach.io a plus
- Open to learning, quick to adapt, and solution-oriented
Qualifications
- 3+ years of consultative selling experience in a SaaS or technical business with SMB clients
- Desire to learn and apply modern business methodologies
- Positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
